As we study our core texts, I will post important resources and handouts for our comic elective course on this page. Our class will follow a tentative syllabus - but, our class discussion will dictate our pace.
If you are new to reading comics, you should look through the following slide show and document to learn basic tips on how to properly read comics before delving into McCloud's study on comics.
While reading Understanding Comics, we will go over each chapter topic through a presentation or notes sheet. Then, we will read, discuss, and analyze a comic issue, focusing on that specific comic element.
