In our native literature unit, we will challenge our prior knowledge of native cultures through historical research. Once we have a better understanding of our country's past with native tribes, we will start to examine native trickster tales, poems, short stories, and comics.
In the first part of our native literature unit, you will examine primary sources and current articles to help you gain a better understanding of the history, pain, and beauty behind native cultures.
